Question Tire Pressure MPSC?

Does anyone run MPSC at the track? Looking for correct tire pressures for a boxster?

I do. I have run them at Road America and Blackhawk. I find they work pretty well with the fronts at 34-35 and the rears 37-38 (hot temps).

Good luck!

On my GT3 34 hot all around is near optimum. Some like 32F and 34 R. Several of us with GT3's on Cups observe that the window of optimal pressure is quite small on the Cups on our cars. We can feel a difference at 35 hot and the car is slidely at 36 hot. Ray, try a little less pressure in back and let us know if you see an improvement. Note, my pressures are based on a GT3 with 2.5 negative camber. They seem to work for cars with neg 1.5 equally well. Outside that range, things may be different.

I'm going ro Road America in September. I'll try a little less pressure and see how it goes.

I Have found that my car is best balanced at slaloms if the pressures front and rear are the same. A friend with a boxster S and trick suspension has come to the same conclusion....

Don't know if it is the same for track work.

I would agree that might work ok in an autocross. However, on the track I believe staggered pressures are best (higher in the rear).

For a boxster on 225/40-18 and 265/35-18 Michelin recommends 32-34 front and 36-39 rear hot..

Autocross needs higher cold pressures because you don't heat the tires as much as you would in a half hour session on a track.

Actually we lower the pressures....I run all four at 2,5 bar (32 - 34 psi).

Others run them at 2 bar (28 psi)

I found them to be very good in the 33-35 range and they began to slide all over at 36 (this is on the 2550 pound SC). Although they were very linear on the way into the pressure window, the over pressure was nearly dramatic and they were significantly slower when going out the top of the window.
