thanks but I've pretty much resolved that I'm keeping the car for myself since my pricing is 'crazy' according the mass response of posts, PMs and nasty emails I've gotten....

The market place determines whether or not your price is realistic. From my limited experience with Boxsters, it seems like they depreciate quickly. Want a good laugh or cry, depending on your disposition? Take your Boxster to your nearest Porsche Dealer, and ask them what they are willing to pay you for your car.

yes, it's so ironic that my VW *an R32 has a KBB private party resale value right now of $32k (more than sticker from 2 years ago which was $29k)

The r32 is a special circumstance. I almost bought one new in 04 and I'd be getting it for 28-29k. When I shopped again in Feb 06, clean 04's with low miles were going for no less than 28! :yikes:

With possible exception of the rs4, it is the most fun VAG product out there.

2-year old VW's going for more than new sticker...

Porsches plummeting in value...

Is this how the end of the world is to begin?

-What's next? - The dead rising from the grave? Human sacrifice? Dogs and Cats living together? -Mass hysteria!

Only if they really feel like paying more for it than it's actually worth.

Oh for the love of god, let it go. Seriously.

A used car is worth what somebody is willing to pay for it, and you can never pay too much for the right used automobile. I'm pretty sure we have all bought a crappy used car and wished we bought the more expensive one that at first looked like a crazy price after the cheaper one we bought turned out to be a lemon.

Been there done that, let it go years ago.

Good luck with your sale.

no worries cause NOTHING is FS any more.. after being laid off and out of work since March 05, I got a new 6 month contract that starts wednesday this week... so income again means NO NEED or reason to sell anything... besides, now I have somewhere to drive my beautiful Boxster S while the weather is still nice

happy motoring to all...

NOTHING FOR SALE NOW... so no worries ... bash all you like.. I'm not selling now anyway....
