"new" 2000 Boxster
Add another one to the ranks. Just picked up a used 2000 Boxster. 2.7. Yellow over black. 18" wheels and sport seats. Not much else in the way of options. Local car. Good deal. Less than 41K miles. Looking forward to many top down days! updatd my avatar but not sure how to upload pics but, of course it looks fantastic
Now what I need to locate are:
1) 4 replacement lug bolts for the "wheel lock" versions
2) Toe eye
3) Bentley Manual or PET info
4) Then the wish list begins - spare wheels, glass rear window, BK extension...

Great looking car! I like the wheels too...
BTW: A good way to upload pics is to use an image hosting site like PhotoBucket or ImageShack , then you copy the link in your post using "img" tags.

Sunset Imports for both.
3) Bentley Manual or PET info
Amazon.com for the best price + free shipping.

Oh man that list will grow sooo fast!

I got a set of wheel locks from LA Porsche Dismantlers essentially for free. After rereading your post, I see you want regular bolts, not locks.
Also, avoid LAPD. They're a nightmare to deal with.

I know I am preaching to the choir but... with the mild weather we've had here this week (60's-70's) I have thoroughly enjoyed driving my Boxster, top down as was intended. It's a shame that winter is supposed to show up soon

Yep. Dunlop Wintersport M3s. They're excellent. The Boxster is really quite good in the snow, with the right tires. Just be smooth and you'll be fine!
By the way that was my '99, but I'm hoping to get some new pics with my "new" '01.

D&J, I like the snow pic. Drove my 914 in the snow. Not sure I will "risk" it with my "new" Porsche as I don't have T/C or PSM and well, I have a VW for the bad stuff
Irishdriver - I agree. A fun car should be a fun color. Not that there is anything wrong with Silver, or Seal Gray, but c'mon, let's brighten out pallets(sp?) a bit!
