Default P-Car Rental in Munich?

Has anyone rented a Porsche in Munich or environs?

I'm planning a business trip out there in May and I'm thinking that a few days on some German roads in a P-Car would really make the trip.

A quick check of the internet didn't show up any obvious sources. Any German rennlisters out there who can give me a pointer? Anyone done this before?

Alex

PS: I don't speak German so an English language web site would be fantastic!

Sorry its in Germany but it is AVIS so you can probably reserve it in the US.

It is linked form Porsche Munich:

I've used Avis in the past and reserved a base Carrera. Not sure of the S is available, however...

Definitely worth it!

Hi ajauch,

There are plenty of possibilities, I found a website (offering a 996 turbo!) with the link as follows:

(unfortunately I'm not allowed to post links, but I can give You that via e-mail)

with a car in Frankfurt (by train only 3 hours away from Munich). If You need additional support from my side, just give me an e-mail. It would be a pleasure for me to help You.

Best regards
