New Boxster S owner
She's nicely optioned and a lot of fun. I never thought I would own a convertible, much less a Boxster, but this car has me very impressed. The howl of the engine at 5k rpm is incredible.
The only issue is that CEL is on. A diagnostic scan indicates that there is a problem with the SAI. My mechanic seemed to think it was simply a vacuum line, possibly something more complex with the emissions control system. I know that an SAI issue with 993's can equal a five digit repair bill. Any insight from some of the members here on what might be wrong and what this could possibly cost to fix? I should mention that the car drives beautifully and there is no hint of an engine problem.
