Default Some paint mods over the years

I did some accent coloring over the years. Just thought I would share.

This is a 1997 Boxster with 83K. I have owned this car for ~5 years.

Do you have side picture of the whole car where I can see what the painted air intake louvres(grilles) look like from a few feet away?

Here are a couple of more pictures. I also wanted to comment the inlets are slightly darker then the Guards Red Body color. I wanted some contrast.

I can't say I'm a fan of the changes mainly because the reds somewhat clash. Maybe it's the lighting, but the red around the shift boot looks more pinkish then the red on the door handles. The intake grills also look a little pink or faded red, again it could be the lighting.

Thanks for the pics! I've been debating on whether or not to go for the 03'+ painted intake grilles vs. painting my current ones vs. leaving them stock.

It is so easy to do, you can change the color almost at will, I was thinking silver inlets might be fun, so I will try that next year, maybe yellow... ;0

If you have done the de-snorkel mod, then you know how to remove them. Very easy. I would say try it yourself and if you dont like the color, paint them black again, maybe satin black.

My pictures could be deceiving, the colors are not as true as they look in person. So take that for what it is worth.
