Feel like going to drive a Boxster for me? It's in Carlsbad at a dealer. I'm told the car is in excellent condition, but of course, I've never seen it with my own eyes. I realize this might be asking a lot but if someone was convenient to the area and had a few spare minutes, it might be a good excuse to go drive someone else's 987! It would be doing me a huge favor.

You might try Bob Baird on one of he spec racing boards. http://www.boxsterspec.com/index.php?act=idx Goes by BXTBOB. He is from Carlsbad and has owed 3 986 Boxstirs, and races them.

Of course if he show up for a test drive in a race suit and helmet....
