well, drove her home today, and she is resting in our warm garage after her long trip. She treated me well and i have a lot of buttons to learn since we met. These german bitches are a little different than the asian ones, and it will take a little bit of getting used to.
She's a 2002 boxster s 6 speed with psm and 18" sport rims . Brakes and tires are new (thank god) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Those Sport Design wheels are my favorite but man are they a biatch to clean. Overall looks like a clean car. Just make sure to do the 60K maintenance on time. And while you are in there IMHO it is a good idea to do the air oil separator. They seem to fail around 60-70K.
Super fun cars though... I very much enjoy mine.

took it for a drive today to get a little aquainted with it. That 2nd and 3rd gear are fun as hell, esp w/the sound of the motor and exhaust.
Now i need to find an independant mechanic in central pa that can do some cv boots. I am going to take the advice of others, and hold off on the rms for a while. |

Is that an aftermarket rear wing and deck lid? I've never seen it before and I like it....

nice car! I have a leaking RMS too. just wait until you need a clutch to have it replaced.
I did the CV boots myself with some guys from the PCA. Mine tore right after taking ownership. apparently the boots fail on the S model quite often. When I bought mine it had 58k on it. Great price for a great car!

thanks all,
I believe the wing is aftermarket, it def gives it some character. It is funny, one of the other japanese car forums said that i neeed to remove it and you guys like it. I like it and don't plan on removing it at all. It's funny the diff in opinions. I paid 15,750 b/c of it needing the rms and cv boots. I am gettting estimates from the stealership and an independant. I was under the impression that i would be able to get a clear bra for under $500, but when the dealer said $1500, i was a little spooked, so i'll have to see. When i call the dealers, they seem really surprised at the cv boots. They act almost like the car has really been abused and this should never happen to a porsche. Then i hear of a lot of people here getting them replaced. |

CV boots are no big deal and even the RMS thing gets tons of attention, the pitty is the impact on clutch. I have an 02-s that I flog at the track and it keeps coming back for more, enjoy

i have done a lot of repairs on my es300 and other older cars, so i will have to read up on the cv boots. If i save money there, then i can use the rest for the clear bra
