I'm looking at this Boxster:

Boxster in Midland, MI

but will not be able to inspect it in person. Particularly given its' well below market price, I want to make sure there are no surprises. Can anyone recommend a local shop (dealer or independent) in the Midland/Saginaw area to do a PPI? Looks like the closest dealer is Porsche of Okemos, 65 miles away. Thanks.

Midland, MI is a relatively wealthy (DOW) area with a Lexus dealership, and if you google certified Porsche mechanics in Midland area, I'm sure you will be able to find a few and contact them to see if they are familiar with Boxster vehicles. I've done that for Detroit area and they are all over the place.
