Default What is this?

When changing brake pads the other day on my 2002 Boxster S, I noticed a small linkage had come loose from it's mounting right behind the brake rotor. Really wish I had taken a photo. It was so spindly looking I can't imagine it doing much, but thought I'd run it by you all. If need be, I'll get a photo, but getting that wheel off and back on was no picnic. It was on the rear driver's side - an arm about eight - ten inches long, very thin - maybe three mm round - and the mount to the hub was cracked and loose. Any clues would be greatly appreciated.

No, it was clearly visible right there in the wheel well. I'll snap a pic tonight. Thanks though!

I'm going to go on and say you probably have Litronic lights. If so, I'm guessing you're looking at a level sensor linkage
