Nice Job Alex! Thanks for the link too I missed the show. And as far as 1000hp I believe Alex has quite a bit more than that!

I was with Alex at the first turbo shootout with European Car Magazine right from that event Alex determined to make his tt the fastest out there. He shipped it to a tuner straight from that event!

You so crazy!

You my friend are a very good driver.
So is your car still consider a Protomotive car or have you changed to something entirely different set up.

I ripped everything out (with the exception of the Ford MAF) and started at square one with an entirely different setup right down to the suspension and as extreme as changing all the possible bolts in the car to titanium (for weight savings). The only hand Todd has in the new setup is the ECU. Since he is the best qualified and in my opinion the most knowledgeable 996 turbo ECU tuner on the planet, he was hired to help program the car on the dyno. Hope that answers your question.

Off topic: but who would be the best ECU tuner for 993? I just bought my ruf and my understanding is that Todd at Protomotive did the tuning...

There are many tuners than can do 993's. If you are willing to dish out the coin (because Todd in VERY expensive) then call Todd. He just finished a friends 993tt that made some serious power! Again, I think he is the best, but also the most expensive out there.
