Default Valentine 1 hardwire....tips or help, please.

Good morning! So the CGT was delivered Friday night, and with great excitement I went about the process of looking for the cigarette lighter to plug in the Valentine 1 to help facilitate happy and ticket-free motoring. Center console? Nope. Glove box? Nope..not there either. Next to the seat somewhere? Still no. By the radio mabe? Negative Ghost Rider...fly-by not allowed. So I pop out the owners manual and look to find that there is no cigarette lighter in this car. You have to be kidding me. No place to charge a phone or plug in a radar detector. Ugh.

So now I have spent the last couple of days trying to figure out how to hardwire a Valentine 1 into the car. Does anyone here have any tips, tricks, or assistance on how to do this, please? My freshly renewed driver's license would appreciate it.

There is a cigarette lighter in the glove box on the CGT, you can plug in in and it works well.

It is on the top side (in the glove box) and has a cover on it..... at least it is what keeps my battery charged.

Consult the manual.

Thank you all. I will check in the glovebox when I get home later in the week (in Florida right now).

I must say...this car is addicting. That first time you go under an overpass while accelerating and hear that scream....WOW!! It makes you want to keep driving and looking for a tunnel to fly through.

Me too. There's ignition-switched 12V at the mirror.
