I'd suggest reading the sticky about buying a Cayenne. Models and years are clearly outlined in that thread.

957, sold from 2007-2010 was a "facelift" of the 955 series, with some additional engine options. The front exterior changed considerably from the 955, the interior and rear of the car (windshield back) was almost identical to the 955. Engines were bumped up in power with the Turbo now at 500HP, and a new 957 Turbo/S was introduced with 550HP. There was also a GTS - a better equipped /S, and the Transiberia - a 957 with offroad pretensions.

Close - but I spotted one error in what I said (and you quoted) in that thread. The 957 was introduced as a 2008 model in the US. There was no 2007 Cayenne in the US. What would have been a 2007 Cayenne was sold as a 2006, many of them getting the traditional lipstick on a pig treatment outgoing models often do - with some paint, trim, rims and funky 2-tone interior.. called the Titanium Edition. I owned one of those.

There were some of the 955's sold in other countries as 2008 model year vehicles.

BTW - when you copy what I wrote from another posting, it's considered polite to reference where you copied it from.

Anyone interested - the link is: https://rennlist.com/forums/porsche-...his-first.html

Heading to fix the original..

2008 turbo 957 has older PCM and 955 turbo brakes. 2009 turbo 957 has touch screen PCM and the larger (more expensive) 2 piece floating discs from the 955 turbo S.

yes 08 is 1 year brake.....odd size fronts 368mm and odd rears i believe 357mm
be careful when you purchase as many places list/sell the 350mm's which don't fit
