Default Remove rear wiper spindal?

I managed to get the wiper off but the spindle is still stuck on there. Does it unscrew or is it fused to another spindle? I already have the new wiper arm but can't get the old piece off. My wiper arm is very slow to move and I'm thinking it's that spindle preventing it from moving the wiper at normal speed. Motor is new and works but won't move the wiper so I removed the old but now I'm stuck. Anyone have any ideas?

Just did this repair, I ended up using an angle grinder to grind through the shaft. Looks like the metal insert has separated from your wiper arm....you're going to need a new one of these as well

Use a puller to remove the old brass insert from the motor shaft. Remove the circlip on the shaft before you undo the nut and proceed.
