Default Multi-purpose display - how procrastination paid off!

My Multi-purpose display started to get hot pixels (on all the time). I did not really feel like tearing into the dash and replacing it. So I just left it alone and it paid off big time!!

2 years ago, hot pixels in the upper right corner

at sometime earlier this year I noticed that the display had corrected itself!!

I was expecting you to say something about a chicken walking in snow boots. That's what I saw in the before pic. Pretty worth the wait IMHO.

LOL! I would have never thought of that, but now that you mention it, I can see it!

Similar thing happened to me. When I bought our S a few months ago handful of the pixels going across the MPH area were screwed up, but they corrected themselves a few weeks later and haven't had anymore issues with it.....wish my vacuum leak would do the same, haha.

I had a similar issue in my old 2001 Audi that also had a similar but red Bosch LED. Mine never healed. Lots of them failed.
