Best Plug and Play Head Unit for Cayenne GTS
I want to upgrade my head unit and was trying to decide which head unit is best without having to re-wire the interior of my car? A good plug and play is desired that still allows me to use my steering wheel controls and I have a backup camera.

Go to crutchfield and look. They have plug and play harnesses that integrate right in. Done in two cayennes now.

Keep in mind, there is no perfect replacement - you will lose one thing or another, so it's a compromise at best. Standard HU's, even with all the available harnesses and adapters, will lose trip/MPG readouts, and communication to the instrument cluster display. Some steering wheel buttons, too, depending on what you have and where you're going. Also, I think you will have to run an external mic one way or another.
With Android HU, you lose some reliability and ease of use, maybe the AM/FM radio in some cases, but you get to retain some communication with instrument cluster depending on the model.
For the backup camera, I don't think it'll be a straightforward P&P, as the factory camera needs to be energized differently if I recall correctly. Look into it further if it's a must-have.
I had a Bluetooth adapter for the original PCM2.1 for a while before I went to an AndroidAuto compatible Kenwood unit. The BT unit worked great with the factory stuff. When I went to aftermarket HU, I gained AAuto, but now have to live with worse AM/FM reception, the thing auto shuts off a few seconds after you pull the key out (I'd get 15m or so with factory unit, and a warning before shut-off), steering wheel buttons are off (volume and up/down work, others do functions that don't correspond to the image). Aftermarket has nowhere near the polish of a factory system.
