Default Engine wall

Hi guys
i have a 2003 4.5 s. I’m in the uk so rhd.
I need to replace the brake booster but it looks incredibly tight.
can I remove the wall between the booster ant the engine?

We’re you able to replace the brake booster? I have a soft/squishy brake pedal in my 06S Cayenne. I’m curious if the booster can cause this, since I have read conflicting reports…

What I have tried so far:

Replace master cylinder
Installed stainless brake lines
Extensive Brake Bleeding (using Power Bleeder)

I am willing to replace the booster if that is the issue, but I would like to hear feedback from others.

btw - I do not have any warnings lights on the dash
