Will my CayenneTurbo ever drive again?

🤣 at the U.S. residents believing that could happen.

I took it for a 10 minutes drive, in the neighbourhood.
All seems good again, driving like it always did, no strange sounds, or drops of oil..
At 1 point, got a little scared though. A little smoke coming from under the hood.
I stopped right away to have a look, but I guess it's ok: During the leak, many litres of engine oil came on top and in between the engine. I cleaned as good as I could, but for sure I wasn't able to reach some places to clean the oil..
When engine get's hot, I guess residues of oil start to smoke..
If still a little smoke after a longer ride, I will start to sweat ;-)
But for now, not yet. Do you guys agree?

You never ordered them from the back of a comic book (along with some x-ray specs) when you were a kid?
An apprentice put one on my work truck a few months ago. I was forced to smack him up side the head for being so lame.

I haven't started her since last time I wrote here, because I was still celebrating with my old friend Jack Daniels, but the little smoke and smell does concern me..
My conclusion about old oil burning in between the engine might have been happy thinking: The smell would also be the smell of a rotten head gasket I guess...

Did some more diagnosing, to be sure of things.
The sun is shining, all looks good.
No more fault codes after deep analyses of DME module, and the engine sounds better then ever. No more ticking, knocking, just a healthy sounding engine :-)
Did some more engine cleaning with dreft dishwasher, in a spraycan. Almost no more smoke, a very little, but engine still hasn't run till operating temp, since I haven't taken her yet for a proper spin.
Here some info on the knock sensors, they don't say me a lot, but I am pretty sure some people from here will understand them better:
Sorry for the bad pictures, still oil on lense from this "oil spray adventure"

Final chapter...
I guess, this is the final chapter, of what has been an emotional rollercoaster.
I took her for an extensive spin, to Belgium border to get gasoline. I live in Holland(The Netherlands), known in many countries for Amsterdam.
Here fuel prices went up to €2.10 for 1litre of premium gasoline 98. So a full fuel tank costs 210Euro's, that's about 230dollar.
In Belgium, 15km's from my town, but different country, you pay €1.50 for 1litre of premium, so 150euro's for a full tank.
So the little trip saved me 60euro's on a full tank.
So I took her for a spin, we know how to tickle each other, so we went a little naughty, but did it safe!🤭
She gave me pleasure, like old times & only she can do.
She was completely herselve, gave me fire and I enjoyed her intensely..
No more "smoking" or "leaking", she's back 100%!
My boss is also happy, because with her being ill, I didn't make it to work last week, and enjoyed with my old friend Jack(Daniels) too much.
Thanks very much to you all, for keeping me going, and not giving up. Thank you!
Greetings Tjap

Great post!
This reminds me of an issue on E38 BMW's where the oil pump bolts would become loose and eventually even work their way out and drop into the bottom of the pan.
I wonder if we should start a new thing where we have everyone check/retorque their chain tensioner?
I know I will if I ever come across it.

There's another chain tensioner bolt on the other side, too, is that right?
Because if it can get loose to 1 side like it did with me, I don't have doubts, that it could happen to the other side also...
Just for a piece of mind, because the whole experience on bank 2 side was utterly terrible
