Default Oil strainer for the camshaft actuator

Hello,

For Cayenne 4.5 turbo, year 2004, how do you replace oil strainer for the camshaft actuator (99710570100 part #20 in picture below)? It`s impossible to get it out from top, it seams stuck in.
Does it come out by force or there is any other tricks?

It does not come out and is made of plastic and will break if you try to remove it.

2005 and later models went to a removeable metal type.

Mid 2005 and earlier were just a check valve no strainer, it's metal and it's staked in the bore. Later was a plastic strainer incorporated with the check valve (as in your pic) and easily removable.

Thank you guys for your answers. Some part catalogs show wrong information that strainers fit for earlier cars.
