Default Porsche factory rock sliders...

Looking for some factory OEM rock sliders (not step) for my 2010 Cayenne.

I found some on Eurowise and it was spefic to the 955 (Gen 1 2003-2006). However, I've heard from other members that they are the same between 955/957.

Does anyone know if this is correct or if the parts will fit on my truck?

https://shop.eurowise.com/products/ewor955sl1

Thanks guys!

PS> if anyone has a used set they would like to sell, please let me know!

It looks like they might be different. My suggestion would be to call your local (or any) porsche parts department and ask them to check:
957 is, I think: http://www.autoatlanta.com/tinyresults.php?pn=955559848034W9
995 is, I think: http://www.autoatlanta.com/tinyresults.php?pn=955559847014W9

based on these two parts diagrams:
957: Linings Accessories Door Sill (autoatlanta.com)
955: Linings Accessories Door Sill (autoatlanta.com)

FWIW, I too would be picking up a pair if they were not so $. As-is, I plan to get a local shop to fab something discrete and stout, at some point.

The other one I feel worth mentioning is (#10 in the diagram, and the "type 3" one is the steel one, I believe).
Lining Underbody Heat Protection (autoatlanta.com)

the Transsyberia steel underbody protection. This is the section behind the chin, in front of the tranny, basically under the oil pan and tsfr case, IIRC:

Not a bad price on the TS underbody piece, any idea how thick they are? I can't seem to find any photos.

I have to say the factory rock sliders are pretty appealing to me but they are spendy. I haven't seen any aftermarket ones that look "right" on the car yet. I think that maybe round tube just doesn't suit the styling of the vehicle.

I'm agreed on the styling, though I wish they were black. Yes, Pricey, and no, not "robust" but better than plastic. The underbody has been reported elsewhere as "not very thick" but better than nothing. I haven't seen or touched it.

I have this steel underbody protection on my 957 CTTS and love the peace of mind it provides. It is basically an identical verson of the plastic oil pan and engine protection cover. I have to say it is really thick and heavy and would make a great addition to set of fabbed aluminum underbody panels if you were building an offroad rig. The only challenge is that with the weight and less flexible steel, it adds a few minutes to an oil change to R and R it. I remain surprised how relatively inexpensive it is compared to other Porsche parts.

Found some pics here. Hard to tell the thickness but I'm guessing in the 1.6mm (0.065") range? Maybe a touch thin, but it's a lot of fab work taken care of for 300USD

Edit: just found a weight of 3.6kg. Must be pretty thin.

1.6mm it is. What do I win?

Feels a bit flimsier than I'd hoped.... Might see if there's any room above to add some reinforcement when I go to fit it.

Ordered mine. Had the same thing in mind. Maybe even just bolt a sheet of flat steel to the now-cleanly-mounted "mounting plate"
