So I have a 2009 Cayenne S.

just got back from holidays and on starting ça, the ‘headlight warning’ came on the dashboard.
them I noticed that the gear indicator on the dashboard is not showing the actual gear but a D in an orange box. When changing to Sport mode the Sport indicator above the D comes on.

I can change the gears with triptronic but it stays on D in an orange box even if I place the car in reverse.

Yesterday the car was fine with no issues but they resurfaced today.

i also have a break light warning too.

i suspect that there must be some electrical issue.

Any advise please???

Corroded wiring splices under the carpet. Do a search on this forum, lots of posts.
