Back In A Porsche
If all goes well, I should have this baby shortly. I’m working out the details with the seller right now. This Cayenne S is in SoCal where I just moved from. My buddy went and checked it out on Saturday and it passed the barrel roll test with no problems. I think I got a pretty good deal for the options it has:
Carmen Red
Air Suspension
Nav
Xenons
20” Wheels
20,000 miles, original owner.
$45K
It’ll be nice to be back in a Porsche.

Private owner. I wish it had the big warranty. I'll probably buy an aftermarket warranty just before the factory one is up (if I keep it that long).

Nice find - low miles, well kept (I assume), Nav and Air suspension plus 20's, xenons.
That is a sought after combo for pre-owned CS's.
Are you planning on any changes with it?
I can already see some clear side markers on it and possibly a SS Skid Plate like with this beauty belonging to STATMAN- https://rennlist.com/forums/attachme...d=113746&stc=1

Not sure what mods I want. Probably the roof rails so I can put my Thule bike carriers on and a kayak mount. Maybe a trailer hitch so I can pull the EVO when it gets converted to a track car eventually?
I'd love to get my iPod working in the darn thing. Sounds like there's a solution in the very near future.
It'll need new tires and I might have to do pads and rotors.
What 20" tires are recommended?

Please be aware that no after-market ext. warranties exist that are reasonably priced or that cover the Cayenne (most companies have folded or no longer cover the Cayenne). If you find one, please post and advise us all.. thus the comment asking if you got your S from a dealer.. you'll see that most folks would recommend that you get a CPO from a dealer vs. from a private buyer.. unless you plan on just keeping it for 20,000 miles or so.
However, welcome to the dysfunctional family.. To understand fully about ext. warranties, etc. just do a search on the term. Oh and enjoy the Kool-aid.

Technically, per PCNA, no (they've been cracking down on that lately).
However, depending on your relationship with your dealer, they might be able to do something for you.
When searching for information regarding Cayenne warranty info, use the search term 'naked'.......no, don't ask.
