I guess so that we remember the number is 1-800-PORSCHE...just in case you don't remember how to spell it or don't have immediate access to one of the many badges that are all over the vehicle

Excuse me, Mr Esteemed Moderator.....
(he cringes, as he knows what's coming)......

Are you sure that the new plastic car isn't the promised NAV CDROM update substitute?

Sorry, had to say it.......

Yes, I am an evil person.

You are not evil.. You had to say it.. NAV CDROM update? Hmmm. I did mail a letter -- are you saying this is my response to why other than a "we got your letter" from PCNA, we've never gotten any info about the CD???

But, what's really unbelievable is that my vehicle has had all of its service at my Porsche dealer and they KNOW I'm NAKED!! It was "in" just a few weeks ago.. I am 16K miles out of warranty and my mailer arrived today.. So why did Peter send me a brochure on a service that I don't qualify to use?? Expensive printing.. expensive card.. expensive mini key chain card.. expensive mailing costs.. They could have gotten a CD upgrade out instead!

No, what is REALLY unbelievable is that.....

I RECEIVED MINE TODAY.

WTF are they thinking? I would have thought that my name would set off at least a dozen alarms down in Atlanta (we'll start with legal, then move up to Front Desk engineering, then compliance........hell, even the receptionist must still cringe when she picks up the phone and it's long distance).

PAG/PCNA/Pure Marketing........

Now that's funny...PAG/PCNA is still spending money to try to satisfy you, Lewis. Too bad they were not so willing to do so when you actually owned a Pepper!!!

The only money spent was on lawyers.....lots of money.....by both parties involved. Very little (on a % basis) was actually spent on the Cayenne.

Peter has them......likely the most expensive Cayenne 'trophy' in his case to date.
Why do they bother? I stopped asking that question when I found out the answer as to who runs PAG.

I got mine yesterday. Although the card is useless (I'm out of warranty) the brochure has a chart explaining all the trouble lights. Now it's in my glove compartment. And someday it could be a valuable collectors item on eBay.
