Looked at one.. yes, I like the interior and the extra room.

Enjoy, should serve the family well

Being a Cayenne forum and most of us chose our machines over a Q7 for one reason or another, at least have the courtesy to post a pic of the new ride.

...still prefer a car over the NONbalanced boat...try test drive new X5 next time, then try test drive new CayS...if after that, you still prefer Q7, then enjoy the boat...

I did test drive 'New' Cay S and X5, however neither did fit our requirement...needed a 7 seater that was 'good value', 'reliable' and not a pretend 'Sports car/suv/...blah, blah, blah...mine is faster etc'.

Speed is not everything...!

Respect 2 U too...

indeed, and my apologise...try these links...;

Thx. We very much liked the CayS and wanted one badly however our requirement was a 7-seater. We waited for the new CayS...disappointingly it was only another 5-seater despite the rumours to the contrary however a quick test drive in the Q7 sold us and it is a 7-seater...PERFECT!, for the family

I looked at the Q7 and tried to like it. I think with the V10TDi, it will be more appealing. My wife liked the body (I preferred the GL450 and have ordered the GL550 for the next step) but nothing beats the Cayenne Turbo for blurring the lines between SUV and sports car. When I step into the GL, I'll be gaining off-road capability (with the off-road package, air-suspension and three diff locks) as well as cabin space in the 2nd row and 3rd row, but giving up a fair bit of cargo space. I wasn't convinced the 3rd in the Audi is enough of a gain over the Cayenne. And, for my preferences, with the current V8 and transmission configuration, it's underpowered and a bit wallowy in the suspension. From reading Euro reports, there will be more performance-oriented versions once Audi is allowed to encroach on the Cayenne a little more (and the turbo-diesel will be fun ... although I doubt the rumoured W8 and V10 gas engine variants will reach the US market, if they ever come to market at all.)

Drove the new Q7, as well as the MB, BMW, Chev, Land Rover and Lexus. All of them are nice cars. The BMW and the Q7 had bluetooth and ipod and the Porsche does not. The CTT Porsche was much more sporting and have better responsiveness in almost every way. It took me a while to justify the extra $40K but in the end I decided what the heck...

Drove the Q7, just didn't need the extra seats and liked the deal on the Cayenne. When the wifes Escalade dies I think the Q7 is the replacement

I was looking at both the Cayenne S & Q7 while we were looking for our SUV. We really needed a 7-seater so we opted for the Audi. I really love this car and it drives & handles very, very well. Some people have complained that the suspension is too soft, we have the regular spring suspension and it handles great (much better than our 2002 allroad).

I still think the Cayenne S is an awesome SUV. If we didn't need 7 seats, then we would have most likely picked up a CS.
