Anyone Looking for a CTT S
My dealer has a brand new 2006 CTTS. I took it for a spin. it is a monster.
They really want to move the truck. Dealer offered me about $8K above KBB value in trade for my '06 CS, AND they were discounting the CTTS from $117 to $92.
Even being 2 model years behind, it seems like a lot of (brand new) car for the money. It was black/black with the blackout package.
I just bought a 993C2S, and my wife needs a car this month, so the timing isn't quite right for me, but perhaps someone out there might be interested?

Wow! No interest at all in what amounts to a $33,000 discount off of a brand new car.
The market must be really soft for '06 Cayennes (even CTT S ).

Where's the dealer located? My '06 has only 8000 miles on it. How much do you think they'd give me for it on trade? PM me if you'd like, but I don't mind if you just post.

I bought one (CTTS) with an MSRP of $124K for $117K and traded it in 4-5 months later with 5K miles for $85K. That was about 9 months ago but it still hurts when I sit down.

I'd take it in a heart beat if I didn't already have one. It is without a doubt the most amazingly capable, the most luxurious, the fastest and best handling five door vehicle ever for high altitude mountain driving. The Cayenne TT S, at least the one I own, is simply KICK ***. There are very, very few NA sports cars that could keep up with it above 8000' in altitude. Throw in that it is actually a serious four wheeler, with front and rear locking axles, 22' max. adjustable ride height, and a 2.7 to 1 reduction gearing, and it's a unbelievably fantastic machine.
There are only three reasons to sell one once you own it, assuming you're into incredible driving machines, and they are ... 1) finances, 2) having no idea what it'll do, or 3) space to keep it. The machine will take a 25 MPH posted corner at 50 MPH without chirping the tires. It'll blast from 60 to 110 in about four seconds above a mile high, then turn in and hit the apex like a German sports sedan and cap it off by stopping in the same distance as a 997 911. Stunning!
$92,000? Brand new? That's a joke, it's so low. If I had another garage stall available, then I'd buy it, too.
Yeah, yeah, yeah... purple cool aid, lemon law, "piece of ****"... whatever. I've owned two. I'd make it three if I had room for the $92,000 one.

An '08 stripped is $93K base. By the time an '08 is optioned out close to a '06 CTTS, and that would need to included PDCC, the '08 would price over $110,000. And the '08 would still have smaller brakes.
Even at 10% off MSRP on the '08 you'd still have enough to extend the '06's warranty for years and spend 2 weeks at Club Med with the wife this winter.

Johnny,
First of all, congrats on your CTTS, which I'm sure is a great (and the best) SUV.
However I don't see how a CTTS is any better than a stripped 08 CTT, which is already quite fully loaded when stripped. Most magazine and Porsche itself quote faster acceleration time for the new CTT than the CTTS. Its brake maybe smaller but it is more than adequate. PDCC is not essential, and it is not present in any CTTS anyway. Most of the options on CTT are cosmetic in nature and are not needed. As you can see from my sig., my money is on the new CTT.
