GM's new Buick Enclave is the best of the Crossover breed and when Caddy gets one of this platform vehicles, it might be the ticket.
Enjoy the new ride. Somtimes somthing new and fresh is better than "Uber-High performance" with the Uber-High maintainence.
I have onother year left ont he Pepper Porsche lease deal. then it goes back to them. I need something that holds 6 people and a bit of cago when replacemnt time comes around. Keep us posted on the Caddy as it ages.
Cheers...

I rented a Yukon, nice car but boring all around. Never drove an Escalade but I imagine they would have a similar highway experience.
A car for me has to have a soul. Which the Cayenne does.

If I want soul I choose the soul of the GT3 that is going straight to hell.
If I have NO OPTION and NO CHOICE and could only have 1 vehicle, then there is ZERO question it would be a Pepper S/TT. It is a great compromise for those wanting to be part of the Porsche family and can't get more than one and at the same time need an SUV. If you can afford more than one then your SUV options start to change. Mine changed to something that is satisfying inside and out and gives me SO MUCH MORE for my $$$ than the Pepper does.
I will NEVER sell my CAB or GT3 but the SUV's will turn over like high school girlfriends

I bought an 07 avalanche last year - pretty much the same vechicle as the caddy but lower quality interior, I presume and less bling. (and a pickup bed)
its my work truck, and yes, it handles like a small mobile home, but it takes everything I chuck at it....

I came slumming over in this forum because I had a question, but I couldn't help but notice this thread.
I didn't read the whole thing, but has anyone else pointed out to you that the Caddiaddiac is a huge, repulsive looking behemoth?
Although you do fit right in with all of your neighbors, in that hoity-toity town that you live in. The center of conspicuous consumption.
