Kanan Rd. Oil pump starving?
So strange... on the way to the beach tonight and in a good corner I hear a grrrr, grrr, grrrr along with seeing a few flashes on the dash... the CEL I think. Then just as quickly turns off and is normal.
Is it possible that the V6 without a dry sump just ran out of oil in the turn?

I wouldn't think so, but oil level is easy to verify.
Is it possible that it was PSM/traction control/ABS/call it what you will kicking in due to loss of single wheel traction?

I know why I'm having issues with the Cayenne...
I'm 4 months from end of lease... and auto finance co called last week and said
Hey your residual is only 19k, will you keep the car? So I was seriously thinking of keeping it thinking "What 19K SUV can you buy?"
My logic was... HEY it's a VW and VW's have a good reputation for reliability. Other than the typical Stuttgart Gremlins... what can go wrong?
Providence?

Before you say 'I do' to the P!g and 19K, I would suggest a quick scan to see if there are any stored codes or other issues...and for 19K, ask them to throw in a CPO warranty while they're at it.
