Hi, just bought a front damaged 4.5 to repair. Been sitting around for a while so thought battery dead, so charged one under the seat for hours and now have some lights and air suspension works but nothing to engine, sat nav or dash except orange glow in middle square. Whats going on?? Seems def electrical!

how bad is the front end damage? might be causing short somewhere?

All the wiring is light and rads at front and wouldn't of thought would effect it? Have interior lights, air suspension and brakes but no power to engin/ dash? My thoughts were some sort of reset switch?

The damage is not as far as engine, just the components in front. Steering and passanger airbags deployed though.

Yeah, I would think there is a fuel/electrical cut-off for the car to prevent a fire in an accident. I think the owners manual talks about this switch.

Check the negative ground cable from the engine to the chassis, right front corner of car. Check the power junction in the engine bay, make sure the b+ cable is hooked up and tight. I would also agree with the idea to check to cut-off switch. On the 2003 to mid 2006 it is a mechanical switch located under the drivers seat, you can re-set it by depressing the yellow button. Mid 2006 and up it is a pyrotechnic switch controlled by the airbag control unit.
