Out with the Old in with the New-- 2006 Cayenne S for Sale
My 2011 'S' scheduled to be built next week and will be on the way very soon...
So, with great sadness, I have to find a new home for my 2006 Cayenne S. I'm not advertising it anywhere, other than offering it here on Rennlist because the trade in offer I have from the dealer is reasonably good (especially when taking into account the credit against the sales tax you get under MA law (which will save about $1,000 in sales tax liability).
Nevertheless, if someone is interested in the car and I'd be delighted to sell it to someone in our community.
As anyone who follows this board knows, this CS has been extremely reliable (operating "naked" since the warranty expired (65,000 miles ago!) with virtually nothing needed but replacement of consumable parts). The car has been ridiculously well cared for (which may explain the trouble free service history), no accidents, no door dings, no scuffs, always washed 'by hand' or touchless system, garaged day (work) and night (home)... Original owner and I have all of the service records. Oil changes were done every 10K rather than the 20K recommended interval.
I do think coils will be needed in the future. They were replaced at 50K under warranty, so I think it will be due for another set sometime in the next year or so.
Anyway, here are the details:
2006 Cayenne 'S'
115,XXX miles
Basalt Black/Black
Full leather (seats, dash, doors etc).
Xenons
PCM
Nav
Bose
Sirius Sat Radio
Heated Seats
Roof Transport System
Ski Bag
Moonroof
Heated Steering wheel
(I loved this car so much, the 2011 I ordered is almost exactly the same...I'm tempted to keep it because I know it will be a classic, but somehow LTC has convinced me otherwise....Lol)
Price: $21,530 (which is exactly the Kelly Blue Book value for 'private party' sale, at the mid point between "good" and "excellent" condition).
If you are interested, please feel free to shoot me a PM...

Wow, I wish I was in the market for a used Cayenne. " no accidents, no door dings, no scuffs, always washed 'by hand' or touchless system, garaged day/night, original owner, all service records and oil changes every 10K rather than the 20K recommended interval".. vehicles like yours are rare gems.

Have you considered donating the Cayenne to charity? Perhaps a tax write off is more advantageous than the sales tax credit ?
Oh wait, never mind. Porsche, since almost going bankrupt (thanks Dr. W) and being bought by Volkswagen, is now considered a charity, so might as well trade it in to the dealer ...

Guys, for those who inquired, here are some pics from today.... Feel free to give me a shout if you want to see something specific that you can't see in these... (P.S. Yes, those are the clear European sidemarkers; Also, the stitching on the dash and doors with the full leather option is really quite nice...The leather holds up great...If oyu want close ups let me know...)

Which one? The ML or the 993?
That's too weird. Years back, I also bought an ML for my wife to drive and on a previous forum that I was a member of, two other members had an ML in the family that was daily driven by their wives. What gives?

Rome: When getting the 60K maintenance done last week, I purviewed the 2011 in the form of a Cayenne Turbo. Lower Profile.. Tire well/tires looks better.. cockpit rivals a gulfstream's.. really it is pretty awesome.. I'd seriously consider one if ........
