Default U.S. Cayenne Buyers Rejoice!

Went to south america for a month over the holidays and whilst down there saw some of the car prices and cringed, tore this out of a magazine to show you guys..

$114,900 USD! for a Base Cayenne Diesel. (keep in mind the V6 Petrol is the same price!) U.S. Base MSRP: $47,700 USD

the turbo down there was $298,000.00 USD

Cayenne Turbo here in Australia is circa $270,000. The Australian dollar and US dollar are now at parity.

We should see the diesel hit our market in a year or so.

probably more efficient than the "hybrid", i still don't understand the hybrid being just barely better MPG than V6/V8...

That ad looks to be from Colombia?

I have family down there from my Mom's side, they live in Cali. Great place and the food, hospitality and women are amazing

I don't know what kind of tax is paid down there and the price may include this.
$114K for a Cayenne Diesel is a bit crazy. If they price this car in the low $60's may be a worthy purchase and IMO the only Cayenne I would buy if offered today in the U.S.

I'm from Saudi and the base cayenne is 68,000 $
but comes with PASM, Bi Xenon, Navigation and some other options as standard
all in all they are almost priced the same in countries that have low import tariffs
