Default I'm getting ready to 'rebadge' my Cayenne...

Is the Cayenne the first Porsche in history not to carry the marque name on the rear deck? Almost like they were embarrassed by it. But, no matter: we can fix it!

I have the older 3" letters and 955 script numbers. My original thought was to set the tail up like the classic 911/912 rear decks:

But, I also decided to try the centered version:

And, for good measure, the 928S4 method:

So, I cleaned off the grime and test fit with transparent tape. The results are below. I'm completely up in the air: The 'P O R S C H E' is going on, but I've also ordered a chrome script 'Cayenne' that's not here yet.

Anyway... Thoughts..?

Thanks for the input but, yeah, but I'm gonna.

Maybe I'll toy with the spacing. Looking at my original inspiration (the first example) the letters were spaced one letter apart.

I'm also warming to version 3, in which case I'll probably leave the spacing as it is to fill the enter tailgate, as it is on the 928.

A suggestion:
Go with #3, but move PORSCHE down so that the top of the letters align with the top of the white area in the taillight & move 955 down so that the baseline aligns with the bottom of the license plate indent. Perhaps angle it, but only 10 degrees off horizontal.

YMMV

I'm doing the same thing but I got the 'porsche' lettering from the new cayenne. I have the 'porsche' letterring on centered but higher (like the new cayenne). I haven't put the 955 on yet... Can't decide if it's going to look too cluttered. If I were u, I'd do it like #2 but reverse it so the 955 is below. Just my 2 cents.

Your P!g has the badge delete option. There is a standard script "Cayenne" from Porsche that you can order.

I kinda like the 955 in the third pic, but don't like the spacing on Porsche.

They do - it's the Panamera style. But I like the classic look of the 3" letters. And, let's face it: the Cayenne has an enormous caboose, it's going to take big letters to fill that void!

Boeing 717 did the Panamera size. It looks good:

Don't think the Pepper is the first to not have PORSCHE on the back. I don't think the 924/944 series or Boxster series had PORSCHE on the back.

Anyway I like the way it looks and I'm thinking of doing the same on mine. Keep us informed on what your final project looks like.
