Cool Motorized front plate?

I've been stopped twice in the last two weeks for no front plate. (same officer) two different cars. Once in my CTT and once in my 928S4. (think next Sunday I will take my 951 and see if he will stop me again)

Anyone installed one of these motorized from plates on their CTT? Pics of the install?

Lewis, my brother in arms, Bond is dead..

He drove a rental Ford in one of the last movies..

If Porsche pays I can see him driving a Pig.
Hell, I can even see him in a Panamera..

Bond died when Sean Connery walked away ... Goldfinger remains the pinnacle of Bond IMHO.

He was the best Bond, no doubt.

Cole, I saw your posting on PBC about your ticket. Let me know if you decide to get the motorized front plate. I'd like that for the 996. My Cayenne already has holes in the bumper from the current plate mount, so I'm okay with leaving that one there.

Thats the truth... but I have to say Danial Craig is a close to the Bond from the books as they have gotten since Connery... but he is still too emotional.

Nice gadget! I wonder if this gizmo is street legal?
Cole, please don't take this the wrong way but as a retired member of law enforcement, shouldn't you be setting an example for others?

As a retired LEO I actually know how useless the front plate is to law enforcement. It's an excuse for contact at best.

Its useful to portable speed cameras in case they don't get a clear shot of the rear plate, but they usually get that clear shot.

Portable speed cameras are revenue generation, not law enforcement or safety. If you want people to slow down on a particular stretch of road, mount a permanent camera. No one will ever speed there again.

I honestly don't care if a car has a front plate when there is a proper place for it. The euro plates mount nicely on Porsches. The ugly green plate just takes away from the clean lines and colors of these cars.

I really hope someone's installed this on a Cayenne! I live in the suburbs of Chicago where you don't really need a front plate. But you need one when parking downtown ($50 ticket)... So I keep my front plate, a package of zip ties, and scissors in the trunk.
