Okay, don't laugh...
but I'm actually wondering if this might be something to consider. I might be in socal this week and am thinking about checking it out. But, how much of this car is missing besides the fender, liner, headlight and what looks to be the inner bumper bar? I'm assuming there should be an extension from the radiator support that the headlight assembly should attach to, but what else?
I am used to doing this kind of repair so am not daunted, just don't know what should be there for a Cayenne.

Three Wheelin'
Looks like mostly easy stuff from the pics. Right fender, front bumper. left headlight, foglight, grille. Would have to take a closeup look to be sure but it doesn't look bad from the pics and the history report shows a normal life up until the accident & it's a CTTS and not a regular Turbo so almost a $20K premium when new.

Bumper, spoiler, radiator support, headlight, fog light.
Those alone, +3,500 or so in parts.
Fender, and missing hoses +1.5k or more Turbo specific parts are expensive!
Not to mention any hidden damage.
Another K or so in painting.
I think you are better off getting the a whole car. Not to mention I assume this is a salvage titles so wont be worth whatever a "normal" 2006 would be worth.
My experience, these things are priced at bluebook minus repair costs.
If you could get it for close to 10k, I would say go for it otherwise pass.
I thought a 2005 Turbo is going for around 23 to 26k or so now?

I would rather get the 2005 above for probably 6k more, same mileage, not a salvage title and probably has had the pipes done

It almost looks like they cut or ripped off the broken bits.
The inter cooler is missing. Also the front bumper bar I am pretty sure would extend out more.
Radiator support means removing even more of the front end than you probably want to as that holds the headlight up.
Not sure if the air box is broken as well.

Thanks, got a quote of $900 for the air bag. Does the wheel have to be replaced also?
Yeah, looks like they wholesale cut off stuff. Called PartsHeaven and they don't have a front clip so would have to do all new unless I can find one somewhere else. This might not be worth it. Oh well, fun to think about having a turbo S.

I had way less damage than that on my Cayenne Turbo (hit a deer, or deer hit me...), and it ended up costing around $11k. Just by being a Turbo S would cost more, then take into account the more damage that one has. I'll try to post pics later.

Well, I'd pretty much talked myself out of this project. The seller was not helpful with getting information, and funny thing, they raised their price yesterday to $19,995, up $2k, so screw that!

The downside is that the car is listed with a salvage title. This means that somebody at the insurance company priced out the repair and realized that it wasn't worth fixing. Also, re-selling the car in the future will be hard as a potential buyer will have access to a CarFax report showing that it had a salvage title.
The upside is that it is a rare Turbo-S and that you say that you can perform most of the work yourself. If you intend to drive it as a keeper until it falls apart, it may actually be worth looking into provided that you entirely use salvaged parts for the rebuild.
