There is a control unit located on the large radiator fan itself.

Control unit failure causes the fan to run continuously even with key off.

Repair or replace the control unit otherwise you need to replace the large radiator fan.

I think this thread may be discussing two different conditions. My issue is that the AC fan in the cabin of the Cayenne runs even after the key is pulled from the ignition. I may need to start or find a new thread.
