2008 Cayenne Turbo with stock air suspension

You can try stock but you should get a 2 inch lift and you’ll have some chopping and molding to do with that tire/wheel setup

I asked Eurowise and they said that it'll rub a little which may require some trimming, but nothing extreme where you NEED to get the lift. Ordered 18x9 +25mm with 265/65/18 wildpeaks. Will report.

I have 18's (OEM 958 wheels) on my 2008 Turbo with those exact tires - Wildpeak 265/65/18. They rub at normal ride height mid-turn forward and reverse. I have to be careful with any sharpish turn. Terrrain mode there is no rubbing at all. I probably would have done 265/60/18s if I'd do it again so my wife can drive the car without me worrying.

I might have my stock 20's powdercoated and do some 255/55/20 or 265/50/20 and sell the 18's in the near future.

I am running on my 2009 turbo 275/65 18x10" The tire are 11.5" wide and 32" tall overall. Also have Rennline 30mm spacers with no issues whatso ever. On a 2.5 eurowise lift . Sits 18" plus in clearance with no added airbag lift. Does rub on inner front in a full turn lock but not enough to effect driving. Sticks out just perfect but no too much

I have had no issues with unsprung weight, premature brake fade no power struggles. Gearing may be an issue with V6 options and brake caliper size come in to play but with a S and the V8 torque I do not see any issues. On a side not my handling has not been effected but added spacers to extend the offset and it works perfect. I'm running Alpha 18" offroad wheels and MT 32" tires with no problems but I am solid lifted 3" so clearance changes. Even with 11 3/4" of clearance the ride with the set up is not changed. I know what you guys may think but I can keep up with some of my 997 guys even in offroad dress. The handling is still way above almost all SUVs and most sedans. Just my 2Cs. Welcome to answer any questions.

More fun pics
Cheers, Mike

@notthd Nice rig. And I concur... my 2010 GTS - with a 3" Eurowise lift - didn't miss a step when the lift was done. I was somewhat concerned it would feel lanky or sloppy, like other lifted trucks I've seen. Yet mine is still super tight and nimble. Absolutely love it!

Question though... I'm assuming the laws are different where you live. How do you get away with the yellow headlight wrap on public roads? I'd absolutely LOVE to do that to mine.. but I likely wouldn't make it 5 kms before being pulled over.

Kattman, AZ does allow for headlight tinting but it cannot be Red or Blue. It also in black out cases dim the lights below a certain Lum and with yellows cannot be brighter than a certain level. Don't remember the code but mine are only slightly brighter than stock. The gray area is the lenses are tinted, yellow bulbs are illegal. With white bulbs the car has to meet the "tinting laws".

No issues for me yet. - Cheers, Mike

Another reason I wished I lived in Arizona. Or at least during the winter months. I probably wouldn't survive the summers. But I digress... love the rig - and especially the yellow lights!

I dumped FB about 4 years ago (when the world went insane). So, not for me. Plenty of amazing content on Instagram though.

Great set up! I just ordered the same lift and was thinking of trying a 33x12.50 tire but after seeing this combo of a 275/65/18 translated to 32"/10.8" I might go this route. Great build! Info is valuable as more of these are built.

So wait, the Eurowise lift gets you more than 2.5in, or I missunderstood?
stock Cayenne with air ride at normal setting ( you said no additional air ride lift) is around 8.5 inches or so, + the 2.5in from the Eurowise lift, + 1.5in from the tire size diffetential, not accounting for actual rolling radius which will be shorter depending inflation, rather just geometry of the stock 255/55R18 - 29in used for the spec 8.5in ground clearance vs your new 275/65R18 - 32in, comes to 12.5 in ground clearnace.
lets assume i understood wrong and your at spec terrain level with the air suspension, that should add about 2in, so 14.5in total new gound clearance.
what am I missing?
Maybe the 2.5in Eurowise adds 2.5in in length to the components, but translates into more at the hub? Or it's underrated!

Don't know what to tell you. Here is where she sits. I will say the airbag system is not working perfectly so I leave it in normal setting. If failure mode is all up I don't know nor care. It's got more clearance and capabilities as she sits than my Wrangler. Also look at the center line of the bumper in the other pics. It is above the centerline of the wheels by a few inches. Like you said it may be translation to the hub .Don't know if this helps.
Cheers Mike,
