who knows how to remove the bumber on early Cayenne. I took the lights off, unscrew all screws I found but it seems something is holding the front bumber on the side. Ipull and pull but doesnt comes off.

any idea or description how to remove it?

It would be easiest to show you with pictures, but I don't have a Cayenne on hand to do this with.
Remove the front fender liners, or at least the part that's attached to the front bumper, and pull them out of the way. The front bumper is attached to the fender by one vertical torx screw on each side, behind the fender liner. It's hard to see, but it's there. There may also be some horizontal screws in there, but I cant remember for sure.

can you explain where it is this vertical screw? close to the turn light? up, down? left right? this way I can find it. I did not drive my car since last november and want to finish the alternator replacment this time. But the bumber doent want to come off ;-)

It is above the turn signal light, right at the seam where the bumper meets the fender.

I got it. not easy to disconet the hoese for the xenon washer system!
after Spa I will try to take teh intercooler out and teh belt and replace the alternator. I hope no more suprises. Thanks
