Unfortunately, this will not fit in a 2013 Cayenne.
You are correct, we have not tested it on a 2013 and are unsure of the fitment, I do apologize. The one shown below will however fit your 2013 Cayenne as long as you don't have 4-zone climate controls but ones with 4-zone climate control are available. For more information Click Here.

With dogs that love to shed and require the rear seat to be down so they have enough space (3 50 pounders) what I would REALLY love is a system that not only covers the cargo area floor but also the back of the rear seats, sides of the cargo area, rear door interiors, and the carpeted area on the tailgate.

BMW makes a great "hammock" system for their cars (at least the last two 3 series). I'd love to have something similar, but I've never seen anything like that for any SUV

If you clink on the link that ECS provideds it does show one with high sides for the 958. Also in the accessory catalog.
