Fuel issues
Ugh. My CS recently sputtered and lost all power; felt as if I was running out of gas. I was able to re-start but same symptoms continued. Parked the car for a day; started and ran great for a day then all same probs reoccured. Limped to local indy where the problems were intermittent, unfortunately, but they determined the the fuel pumps + filter needed to be replaced. They did the $1400 job and it ran great....for 160 miles. Now, the sputtering/dying is back. Any thoughts here??

That's really strange. I would have guessed fuel pump when I read your initial description of the problem.
There are two fuel pumps - did you have both replaced?

Welp. Apparently, the left fuel sender was hung up on the fuel line and not functioning. Gauge was not working. Bottom line: I was out of gas and didn't know it. When the fuel line was re-routed, the sensor came to life, the 'low fuel' warning fired and things are hunky dory. Car took 28 gallons of fuel.
