Default Default considering 2014 porsche platinum edition

dealer willing to offer 5% discount , is it a good deal?
i really like the sport exhaust , is it usefull beside the look?

should i wait to order 2015 cayenne ?i believe they are going add signal light on the side mirror and front view camera or maybe 360'' camera?
do you prefre the new refreshed cayenne or the current one?

If you can wait another six months either you can get 2015 or more discount on the 2014. Either way it will be worth it. For me I at least wanna see how 2015 looks before I make a decision. Mean time would get to see/ test drive Macan too. And if you plan to keep long term, don't want it outdated too soon...

Are the 2015's just a refresh or a full redesign? I wouldn't buy a first year full redesign but a refresh is just that.

Very happy with my loaded '14 CD, but just wondering, what did I miss with the Platinum Edition? Are they just throwing all the leftover parts in the factory to clear them out prior to the refresh?

If you happen to want to options in the platinum edition it saves a little dough. I think they are forcing remaining builds for base as platinum.

I went to the dealer two days ago and got this copy of the options on the Platinum that they made. However I think the Two-tone partial leather on the Platinum doesn't include "full" leather interior and is incorrectly listed as $3,655, so the discount is lower.

There are three levels of leather. Partial leather adds armrest and doors I believe. It is the mid tier option and does cost a few grand.

Nothing official but looks like the unveiling will be June-July, and deliveries around October-November.

Wait, wait, wait, there is something better coming.... But then, you'll never buy anything. lol

My prediction for 2015 are trim changes like they did with the Panamera, and changes to the diesel to match the output of the Q5, A6/A7 and 2015 Macan diesel. The V6? I think it stays the same, maybe squeeze a couple of more HP. The base V8? Maybe gone, matching the V6 twin turbo of the Panamera.

There is one prediction that I am almost certain will happen: Price increase.

[I would have purchased the Platinum edition had it been available earlier. I like White color but not the stock one (which is no longer Carrara White). But the optional White in the Platinum edition is gorgeous]
