Default Cayenne Trunk - 4 golf bags or 3?

Hi I am serious shopping at a lot of different SUVs right now and I wanted to see if you current users can give me a "yes" or "no" response for the following questions.

1. it has to be plenty fast (I think this is already a "yes")
2. it has to carry 4 full sized golf bags without protruding into the passenger cabin.
3. it has to carry 4 full grown adult males in complete comfort with no touching of body parts (not nice to touch sweaty arms and legs of fat dudues after a full round of golf)
4. must have auto bluetooth capability for both voice and data. I just want to set up for the first time and simply go every time I get in the car. No fumbling for connect button and disconnect button.
5. must not tip over like the Titanic when turning or during emergencies
6. it has to be quiet enough so that I don't have to yell at the dude sitting in rear passenger side when I remind him how bad he played
7. AWD with limited differential in the rear is needed
8. I gotta get combined MPG of at least 16.

Thank you for your helpful comments. Is Cayenne the answer(2013 or 2014 model)?

The trunk is not the largest and packing it full with 4 golf bags is not going to work. One way is to take the drivers out and lay them on top of the bags, but that's not ideal either. The newer 958 trunk, I believe is a different shape and a little larger, not sure how that equates to fitting bags in.

I went a different route. All four of us (Wife, 2 boys and I) play golf and we all have a carry bag. Even then, it's a challenge to get that in plus all the other 'stuff'. In order for us to fit all of our gear and have plenty of room, I got a roof box to carry the bags, shoes, etc.

The brand and model is the Inno Shadow 14. It fits on the Tequipment bars easily. We loaded it up and took the truck down to Palm Springs for some rounds in December . Plenty of room. We had room for 3 carry bags in there. One was in the trunk. If you are looking at the newer 958, you have to order the truck with roof rack otherwise, you're SOL.

Avg. mpg for the trip was 17 and change too. I was happy with that. Oh, and we didn't notice that the box added much wind noise. Bonus.

Check your local rack outfitters in your area and test fit before you buy.

does this mean the drivers don't fit horizontally in the trunk when they are inside the bags? I'm thinking they will be about 46 inches total.

No, a driver won't fit horizontally in the 958, not while in the bag at least. It would probably fit out of the bag and on top of them, but 4 bags in the back would be pretty tight. It's really not that spacious in the cargo area.

I go skiing in Mammoth Lakes. Limited slip helps big time.

The Cayenne has always been a "tweener" in terms of size, in my opinion. I think it's great for a couple that occasionally needs a back seat or modest hauling capabilities. We fold the seats down and put our Great Dane in the back on a regular basis. That being said, I don't think it's big enough for regular passengers in the back, especially adults. The cargo space is also relatively limited.

If you regularly haul three other adults and four golf bags, then you should consider a larger vehicle. An Audi Q7 diesel would be one consideration because it's a little bigger and it will meet your mileage requirements. You might also consider a Yukon or an Escalade.

i can answer #2. The short answer is YES.
you have to lay the bags diagionally in a "X" pattern. you can leave the driver in the 1st bag, but must remove them in the other 3. Its a pain but can be done.

i am considering a Large SUV in the near future. Im thinking about the upcoming Escalade/Denali w/ MAGNETIC Shocks.

I'm dismayed. I really wanted a Porsche. I'll go the dealer this weekend and bring my golf bag.

I really wish P would make a Long Version of the Cayenne. That would suit me.
Anyone heres what i looked at:
1. New X5. its slightly deeper and wider, however theres a lot more vertical space. Its much improved.
2. Jeep SRT, very fast, its feels roomier than the X5. but some of the interior bit felt cheap
3. Dodge Durango, very room, but I didnt like the handling

I wonder what the trunk space on the RRS is.

The RRS is probably not significantly bigger than the Cayenne, looks to be about 4 cu.ft (27.7 RRS / 23.6 Cayenne). Is that enough to put 4 bags in? No.

If you want an SUV type vehicle, you are looking at full size not mid size.
