Default Indy Shop in Houston?

I'm a new '05 CTT owner and looking for a good independent shop in Houston. Does anyone have recommendations? Thanks!

Checkout PCCarShops for a local independent mechanic.

Since Houston is so large, you are probably looking for a shop near your work or home. Therefore, what area of the city are you most interested in?

Distance isn't a big deal (I live in Katy) for a trustworthy, reputable shop. I'm just hoping to find a recommendation for a shop that knows Cayenne's and won't rip me off. I used to take my 996 to Porsche North Houston, but that's the max range I want to travel, plus I know I can get a better deal on some of the common maintenance at an indy shop.

Porsche of West Houston has a good shop, speak with Cody.
Driver Source on Memorial, between Eldridge and Dairy Ashford is another. They are a specialty shop and work on a lot of high and and older cars.

The Cayenne I take to West Houston as it is still under warranty.
The 997 I take it to West Hosuton for oil changes and a look over. Then take it to DS for specialty items, ie adding 3rd radiator, new starter harness etc.
I take my GT3 to DS as well. Mainly to set up for track use.

Eurocar Werk on Gulfton at S. Rice is another option, however, I'm not sure they are significantly less expensive than the dealer options.

To revive this thread, I was hoping someone might have a recent indy mechanic recommendation in Houston. I need an indy to diagnose a brakebooster fault (probably another bad vacuum hose) and a slow coolant leak (pipe and t are done). Any suggestions?

I've been really happy with Texas German Autohaus (TGA) in the Greenway Plaza area. I'ven ever taken them a Cayenne but they've worked on both my 911s and my business partners X3 and Z4. Good prices and straight shooters.

I'll third the request - I am helping a buddy get his 996 convertible back to spec after a few years of life under the dust cover. Immediate work required is to fix the drivers window (it doesn't go up) and fix the roof (it leaks). The roof itself doesn't go up & down all the way so that's also something that needs to be taken care of.

My closest indi is C & B European & Japanese in Katy - it's literally on my street. Does anyone have anything to say about these guys?
