Looking at an 08 GTS, have?
Was the 08 affected by the coolant pipe and cardin shaft issues?
Did the 08 have any other issues?
It has 60k on it now and I drive 15-20k a year. Will this be a maintenance where?
Thanks
Jim

Coolant pipes were fixed with the 2008 refresh.
You'll eventually have problems with the driveshaft center support bearing.
Beyond normal maintenance, these cars are pretty reliable.

I have an 08 CTT. Only unexpected issue was coolant manifold (not pipes but connected to them) failed. I am at 105K miles. Brakes about every 30-40 K miles, fairly hard on rubber and gas but that could be from hard use as well. I tow a boat that is around 7000 lbs.
Very pleased with the car for all around vehicle. Good in snow, compact (enough to fit in garages), sporty and fun to drive. I am hoping to drive it another 3-4 years and semi retire it but keep it.

I just replaced the clutch and flywheel on my 2009 GTS with 85,000 miles. That was $5K (I only paid $2100 as my extended warranty covered the flywheel and a bunch of labour fortunately). Something to keep in mind if you buy a manual Cayenne however. While in there, the tech said my driveshaft will soon need replacement as the rubber bearing support is starting to deteriorate.
