Used 06 ... or another year?
Been away for a while.
I had a fire at my house back in the summer of 2012 .. finally settled with the insurance company two weeks ago. I lost five cars including my 996tt and Cayenne S. The Cayenne went up in flames .. the 996 was damaged and I battled to get it totaled .. another story.
I'm going to start the rebuild soon and I am thinking of getting another Cayenne. I have driven a 2010 on and off as a company I do work for keeps one in NYC .. but no long trips with it. I really liked my 06 Black S better? It was not a highly optioned car and I did have some issues with it when new .. but once fixed I really loved the look and had no issues at all.
Am I crazy to be looking for another 06?
This is a weekend house and getting a nice older one seems like the practical thing to do ...... I'm becoming practical .. not as much fun!
My 06 was perfect with just over 60k. Porsche had fixed the coolant pipes /headlights/ trans solenoid .. all the normal stuff .. no shaft issue. Oh and at least 4 sets of coils .. how could I forget?

My 06 had what I think Porsche called the "sport interior" -- little bigger bolsters on the seats and the steering wheel had the heat/ and power tilt. My car was all black with the blacked out trim ... IMO better looking then the 2010 in silver ..... I don't like the fluffy seats in it?
I'm thinking we will only put 8k max on it a year .... I would rather get one with 50k then 80k.

Absolutely not. Love is what makes you smile every time you see it in the driveway... let alone get in and drive it!
