Default Sell before CPO expires or keep her and cross my fingers

The CPO warranty on my 06 CTT ends 1 Feb 15. It saved me about $4000 in my first year; all accessory stuff. All the usual CTT mechanical issues had been corrected by the PO. She's now all sorted and has no issues. I'd like to keep it another year or two, but wonder if the CPO would add substantially to the value is I sold now. Has 66K miles and I'm a low mile driver...5K/yr on the Cayenne tops. Its probably a 9/10 car but is at that age where the value sinks like a stone. Opinions?

You'll get very little extra for a CPO with 2 months left on it. Keep the P!G - if the repair/maintenance costs are less than a new car payment you're ahead of the game. At least that was my decision when the CPO was up. So far - it has been.

Keep it and enjoy it. My 06 C S has over 103k miles and has been great since all of the usual suspects were taken care of.

I think you should sell it -- How much??

As to the CPO: I bought an older Mercedes Wagon from a CPO owner -- It still had 6 months remaining. I was willing to pay for the safety of the warranty .. and it got used in typical german fashion. I have also sold CPO cars with a few months remaining .... I sold them and got my price. Are we talking about a lot of money .. no .... but mine sold quick and I was the first call to the MB guy.

I would be more inclined to give top dollar to a CPO car vs another.

My '06 CTTS has about the same mileage as yours and I have done all the usual upgrades and a few performance ones too. Coolant pipes, Cardan shaft, new coils & plugs, Mobridge, LED Tail lights, Eurocharged software, IPD plenum (got a good deal, wouldn't pay retail for it), EBC Yellow brake pads, just did the LN Engineering spin on oil filter adapter. I do maybe 10K a year and plan to keep it now. I know coils will probably go again (I'm on '09 revision and last year they jumped all the way to '20 revision) and Cardan shaft of course but other than Mx items she should be good. Of course for the CTTS the front brakes are expensive but I got a good deal on front rotors a year ago ($995 a set) so I pigeon holed them away in the shop for the next brake change. I've thought about a newer Pig but I think I'll keep this one and look at a newer 911 Turbo or Cayman as another vehicle.
