Default Good price for an 05 Cayenne Turbo

I sold my 04 Cayenne S with 109k for $9100. Looking for a nice 05 Turbo. What is a good price? I see some 04s going for over 20,000 which seems ridiculous to me.

There's a good price on beater and good price on a creampuff. Mileage and condition. Anywhere from $10K for a beater to $25K for the creampuff.

As a data point, I just paid $21 for an 05 Turbo with 45k, and traded in an 06 S with 96k for $13k. I probably overpaid on the turbo a bit, but it was low mile, and my top color choice, plus it was a dealer.

Sounds like the Turbos are more expensive than the S's. I guess that should be expected.

How do you like the Turbo compared to the S? I thought the S was lackluster, laggy and slow. Not to mention, it was very noisy and rode like it was on wooden rims. The rattles were terrible and I didn't enjoy driving it at all. It felt cheap and shoddy. Generally, a poor quality ride. The only redeming qualities were the great handling and looks

IslandS52 you didn't overpay.
3 months ago I paid 22 and change for a calif turbo, my color choice with 51K miles and every option, coolant pipes done and all dealer serviced and after looking for a year before that I think I got a bargain.

Low mileage nice turbos are getting harder to find and are holding their price.

It's more for my wife than me, but I love it. Compared to the S it is night and day. It feels much lighter on its feet, way more power, and the ride is much better on the air shocks. Interior is also worlds better. I was also lackluster on our S, but I really love the turbo. Actually I am trying to figure out how to get my wife out of it so i can daily drive it.

I paid between 24k and 26k for my 04' CTT a few years back, I honestly forget the purchase price (it is in one of my old threads). That was a silver metallic with black interior CTT and had 38k-42k miles when I bought it (again it was awhile ago so I forget). This was early 2013 or 2012 when I bought it. I sold May of 14' for 18k or so (traded it in) with 50-60ish k miles.

I paid 10,500 for my most recent CTT, I've been happy as a claim, it is a creampuff but had high miles, basically new under the engine and has a lot of go fast bits. The worst thing on the car cosmetically is the drivers seat is wearing a bit on the exterior side. But no rips, tears, stains, etc. Oh and I put some plywood in the hatch area this summer and scuffed the plastic by the speaker/window area.

I always love it when someone throws out a blanket statement about a particular model without providing any further information. I suspect it was probably bought second hand. Did the PO maintain it properly? Was it a lease vehicle? Damage, etc? What options did it have? PASM or springs? Much of the ride quality you describe can simply be attributed to choice of tires.

There are hundreds of Cayenne S owners on this board who absolutely love their P!g, S models included.

Cheers,
TomF

I'm thinking about looking at an 03 cayenne turbo. The people selling seem pretty well of. They're asking 10,900 obo. It has 151k with all the major maintenance issues taken care of as well as regular maintenance. The only downside is I think it's been offroad, but it doesn't look beat up at all. Is this a wise choice or should I stay away from an 03?

At 151K miles, I hope it's had every moving part in it replaced.

Which, of course, it hasn't. So I gather I should stay away at that kind of mileage.

I think 19psi is exaggerating some. There are a few really high mileage turbos on here. Depends on maintenance and condition.
