Default Metal Coolant T for 2006 Cayenne S

Hello all,

My plastic coolant T-fitting fail in spectacular style and i'm looking to replace it with a metal one. Does anyone know the diameters for the 3 hoses that connect to the T. I'd like to order it and have it when all the other parts arrive.

Thanks

-K

It's out there somewhere. I think it's in the "Coolant Pipes" sticky. Somebody made a bunch of them, but I think they are sold out.

I don't remember the I.D. of the hoses offhand.

Thanks. Most of the posts refer to the Turbo's t-fittings, which are of different IDs. It's my understanding that the S only has one.

If a T fitting failed its assumed you are speaking of a CTT, but this thread mentions an 06S.
?
No T fitting on the S, like the CTT. Do you have the metal coolant tubes on your S?

Going to take the intake manifold off tomorrow to take a look. Something big popped towards the rear of the motor as it empties the coolant tank is less than a minute. I took a look at the PET and found 955.106.323.00 which looks like the correct part. I thought the only difference was that the CTT had a 2 T-fitting set-up while the CS had one.

Let us know what you see but it sounds like a coolant tube let go. When this happens antifreeze finds a path near the starter and runs into the bell housing.
The end result is damage to the starter and or transmission seal.
