Seat memory not working on driver side door
Wouldn't you know it. Just had my 40K mile service done before the warranty expired at 50K on our 2014 Cayenne, now the seat memory isn't functioning. When I push either of the buttons, nothing happens. When I push the Set button, it doesn't light up red. The controls on the seat work perfectly fine and the memory function on the passenger side door works.
Is there a separate fuse for this? Any other idea of what may be causing this?

Problem solved
For anyone else that may encounter this issue, the problem was solved.
I stopped by the dealer on the way home today and told the SA what my issue was. I stated that the mirrors responded to the preset buttons, the seat controls actually work, but the Set light does not illuminate, and the seat doesn't move when you press the preset buttons.
He said that it wouldn't need to be put in service. He said that maybe something kept it from moving in one direction and to save the motor, it goes into a failsafe mode. He had to just move the seat around to all its positions and it reset itself. $0 and I'm out the door.

But the vehicle has been back in GA now for several weeks. We'll see if it comes back. I'll keep looking for a pratical solution at the same time. Thx.

I don't know what's behind the plastics on the door buttons, but the center console ones use rubber-like membrane switches. Basically just a rubbery half-bubble under each switch with a conductive spot under it to touch the circuit board under it and complete the circuit. I'm guessing cold temps would be problematic for the bouncy-ness of the material. But I'd think there'd be more reports from northern latitudes if it was a problem. My first guess is if you wanted to test if it's temp related it might work to point a hair dryer at the panel and see if warming it up changes the situation. Just not hot enough to deform the plastics or leather adjacent to it. It'd be loud and probably take several minutes to have any actual effect.

Here's what's weird about it: when you press the memory buttons, the mirrors will move to the programmed position, but the seat doesn't move. The light still does not come on when you press the Set button either.
And I pulled the fuse to see if that was it (#1 on the driver side, #20 on the passenger side) and replaced it with another 25 amp fuse. Still no go.

What happened was I was cleaning my interior and applying 303 Aerospace. I had the car turned off. To make it easier to access things I moved the seat all the way forward and all the way back. Apparently doing that with the car off can cause it to get wonky. To fix it I had the car running and moved the seat all the way forward, all the way back, all the way up, and all the way down.
Oh heck, I just realized this is the Cayenne forum. This was for my 911! Still worked great.

This worked!
Had to bump this to say Thank You! It's a six to seven hour round trip to the nearest dealership so you saved me a HUGE headache.

Thanks. 2006 Cayenne TT. Seat memory quit working. Would only go to 1 setting every time.
Had auto entry that went back against rear seat that was folded down and I suppose it went into survival mode rather than crush the seat.
Put up with it for a while but had to adjust the seat every time I got in since it was stuck on wife's setting.
Found this thread and tried it.

Had similar seat issues when I got my CS in December.
Someone here was nice enough to tell me that it's the limits were probably lost. To fix, just need to go to all the seat limits. Also, if you have power steering adjust, do the limits on that too. All way front, back, up, down, etc...

This thread should be added to the manual....
This is to record that this worked on my 2017 se hybrid with comfort memory seats. Ignition on, seat fully forward, back, up and down and hey presto it’s back. Can also confirm that it started after I moved the seat fully forward while cleaning, the ignition was off then of course so looks like that’s what triggers it going
