Looks like one of the front parking sensors went bad. No visible damage, had them cleaned, and they all look pretty flush.

I took it to the dealer and they said this happens in areas with hot climates, where the glue holding the sensors in loosens up. This results in a misaligned sensor bouncing the sonar off a part of the front bumper resulting in the error.

Have any of you guys heard of such a thing?

It doesn't look possible to get access to the sensors without pulling the front bumper cover off. There does not seem to be a 2012+ GTS front bumper cover removal tutorial anywhere, anyone have any guidance on this subject?
