I was trying to work out why it worked yesterday and doesn't today, so the question is - would a failing car battery impact it? The reason i ask is my trip to work and back is about 3 miles each way, and i've noticed it turns over slower when its colder. now yesterday i did a lot of driving and when i got home locked the car up. 30 mins later I took the daughter swimming and that's when she just went to the door and it opened.

So just trowing it out there should i replace the battery and test it prior to stripping the door???
