@ps2020 reminded me that their new-to-them CPO Cayenne came without an owners manual, so they cannot look up the error message in the manual.
I'm sure someone here will recognize the error message and post a description...

I read in your other thread that the car didn’t come with an owner’s manual, so we can cut you some slack, ha.
Based on my quick read of the manual it appears your start/stop function is not available at present.
Regarding tires (your other thread), you’ll need to decide if you want to live with all seasons or bite the bullet and get two sets of wheels. The winters in Tennessee aren’t too harsh, but you can’t run with summer tires there all winter. I got a set of 20” RS Spyder Wheels to run winter tires.
Happy motoring!

With regard to the start/stop function not being available...some people pay *extra* to disable the start/stop function.
Wonder what's causing that, a system fault or perhaps bad battery. In any case, it's Porsche's problem as it should be covered by CPO.
And...if it is the start/stop function, presumably the car is otherwise safe to operate. (Might be worth asking the service manager that when the OP calls for an appointment to get the issue resolved...)

As mentioned, a low battery will often disable the start / stop function.

WKD number - how to find correct one for me?
thank you for looking up information. I emailed serviced department and waiting to hear from them.
In the meantime I am trying to download porsche manual (Porsche good to know guide) but it is asking me WKD number (I am assuming it is production time slot). I am being given few choices. I could not find it in papers I got when I bought Cayenne. Where I can look up this information either on Cayenne itself or Can I find out by dissecting VIN number?

Ok so this sigh would come up on my Cayenne 958.1 2013 when I picked it up (Used). It was a low battery which would not let it engage. after we drove the car back (Some 200 miles) the battery charged up and this sign disappeared. I disabled my start stop feature after playing around for sometime from the center console. Luckily it stays off till you switch it on again....a feature the later cayennes lost from what I have read.

Brilliant! Thank you for posting that ShdwFx. I purchased the car last Fall and have never experienced the auto start/stop function. I've also been wondering what that darn @ indicator light was for. Now I understand that's telling me the start/stop function has been disabled. Knowledge is power.

Off topic from the original question - but I would love to have the speed limit posted on the top line of the multifunction display, as shown in this pic. I just checked, and do not have that option available on my '18 CTT. Any idea how to enable it?

I'm pretty sure that is part of a subscription service for maps since those limits could change over time and would become useless (like the current maps in my '13).
I guess it's also possible it's a carry-over from a Carplay app, but I doubt we'd get a cool free feature like that.

Living in SC, mine is disabled most of the year because having the Max A/C button activated disables it. So does defrosting the windshield or being in sport mode, etc, per that list above. There are a ton of reasons it will show that light that don't mean you have a bad battery. (but the bad battery is also one of those reasons lol)

On my 14, I did figure out how to display the speed limit as in the pic through the settings menu somewhere. You probably do have to have NAV on your pcm. But like @dollarlongnecks said, it was always outdated, especially the highways here.

Waze will show posted speed versus actual.

[QUOTE=hawk14414;17929836]In the settings menu you can choose what is shown (always) in the the top and bottom lines as well as the middle four lines of the display. I have mine set to show the speed limit, but as others have pointed out it becomes outdated over time.
